Come into one of our four family centres and check out our ever-growing list of programs for adults, children and youth of all fitness levels. Whether it's recreational sports, preschool activities, specialty aquatics or any other of our many programs, the YMCA is the place to get fit, have fun and make new friends.
Registered Programs
WARM WATER AQUAFIT - A class specifically designed for those with arthritis and other mobility issues. The shallow, warm water helps to relieve stiffness, increase range of motion and allow for a safe, low impact cardio and strength workout.
- Mondays from 12:00pm - 12:45pm; July 8 - August 19, 2013.
- Wednesdays from 12:00pm - 12:45pm; July 3 - August 21, 2013.
- Fridays from 12:00pm - 12:45pm; July 5 - August 23, 2013.
YOGA - Continue your pursuit of health, balance and harmony by expanding upon the many postures and techniques of Hatha yoga. These classes improve circulation, strength and flexibility while increasing mindfulness and breath awareness.
- Mondays from 7:00pm - 8:30pm
- July 8 - August 19, 2013
STROLLEROBICS - Moms or Dads bring your baby and your stroller to this cardio based fitness class, designed to improve your strength and stamina. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.
