Recognition Criteria and Nomination Form

Nominate a volunteer in the following categories:

Policy Volunteer - someone who makes an outstanding contribution to the YMCA governance.
Program and Service Volunteer - someone who makes a difference in the programs and services offered at the YMCA.
Story Tellers and Financial Development Volunteers - Someone who raises the profile and awareness of the mission of the YMCA as a valued community charity.
Youth Volunteer - A young person (under 25 years of age) who provides leadership and makes a significant contribution to the YMCA through programs and other means.
Spirit Volunteer - Someone who brings to life the YMCA mission in all that they do.
Volunteer of the Year - A person who demonstrates and models a continued and in-depth commitment to the YMCA of Northern Alberta. This commitment goes beyond the normal scope of his/her role with the association.

Anyone involved with the YMCA may nominate a candidate by completing the form below before Friday, March 15, 2013.

The Nominators and Award Recipients will be notified at least one month before the event. The awards will be presented this year at the Volunteer Recognition Event in conjunction with the YMCA of Northern Alberta Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
